Life after service can feel heavy.

Maybe alcohol or drugs have become your way to cope.

You set rules - only weekends, only two  and they slide by Friday.

“Not tonight” turns into a top-up before you’ve noticed.

Stress or celebrations both end the same way: another drink.

You promise yourself it’ll be different tomorrow - again.

Mornings feel foggy; afternoons are spent catching up.

You don’t need to hit rock bottom to know it’s time for a change.

You need help to stop drinking - a plan that actually works so you can stop drinking alcohol and feel in control again.

Alcohol Reset is a private, one-to-one online alcohol programme with weekly group support. You get clear steps, steady guidance and practical tools to help you regain control.

WORK WITH VETERANS:

- VETERAN, 12 WEEK PROGRAM CLIENT

I didn’t think I needed help - I told myself I’d handled worse in the Army. But alcohol had become part of every night and I was losing control. What worked here was the structure and the privacy. I didn’t have to sit in a group or explain myself to strangers. My facilitator kept me honest and gave me simple tools I could use straight away. Now I’m sleeping, I’m calmer, and I’m actually present with my family. It feels like I’ve got my life back.

Coming home was harder than I expected. I kept everything bottled up and turned to drinking to take the edge off. It worked for a while - until it didn’t. This program gave me something solid to follow and someone who understood when I was struggling. It wasn’t about being judged- it was about moving forward step by step. I’ve rebuilt trust with my partner, my kids don’t walk on eggshells anymore, and I’ve got the confidence to look ahead instead of back.
